Hunter Biden Lands In Hot Water Again – Secret Service Involved In Firearm Incident, And Hunter Allegedly Lied

However, his family’s past remains a point of interest for many, especially where his son Hunter is concerned.

Last December, Hunter Biden revealed that he was under investigation for his taxes and overseas business affairs. But since then, we’ve heard little, and Joe Biden hasn’t said much, either.

But now, Hunter is once again back in the media spotlight — and the Biden family won’t like it.

This time, the scandal involves the Secret Service, a gun in a trash can, and an apparent lie on a federal background check.


It’s all related to an October 2018 incident between Hunter and Hallie Biden, the wife of the now-deceased Beau Biden (Hunter’s brother).


At the time, Hallie allegedly took Hunter’s gun and tossed it in a trashcan behind a grocery store. But when police found out, they were worried because it was so close to a nearby school.


But when they looked, the gun was gone.


That’s when the Secret Service stepped in and approached the owner of the store where Hunter bought the firearm. They wanted to see the paperwork of the sale.



Well, the result is raising eyebrows (as reported by The Daily Wire):


POLITICO obtained copies of the Firearms Transaction Record and a receipt for the gun dated Oct. 12, 2018.


Hunter responded ‘no’ to a question on the transaction record that asks, ‘Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?’


Five years earlier, he had been discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine, and he and family members have spoken about his history of drug use.


Hunter’s drug problems are well-documented now, that’s for sure.


So when they asked if he used drugs and Hunter replied “no,” that could be interpreted as a total lie. It’s no laughing matter, either:


Lying on an ATF Form 4473 is a felony that carries up to a 10-year prison sentence and a $250,000 fine.


Now, the question does ask if the person is habitually using drugs at that time, and isn’t specifically asking about the person’s past. Hunter could say he wasn’t a current user and he was telling the truth.


That might not fly in the eyes of authorities, though.


It’s especially concerning because one wonders: what did Hunter need a gun for? And why did Hallie take it and throw it away?


She claims she was worried he was going to use it to commit suicide but no matter what, this is a sordid ordeal … and definitely not what the Biden administration needed right now.


Now everyone is wondering if the President will address this new issue, or if “mum’s the word” will still be the status quo.
